World Book Day: 2nd March 2023!

Today the children were very excited to come to preschool in their costumes, or their pyjamas.

They sat and listened to the Gingerbread Man story, made split pin gingerbread men, and decorated biscuits kindly made by Kirsty (some enjoyed sneaking a couple of sweets whilst making them; I am sure more ended up in their tummy’s than on their biscuit).

The children all then entered the colouring competition for which the lady from Bookstart had donated a lovely Usborne book for the winner.

We have one more entry to complete this week and then the pictures will be uploaded for you all to see and vote for your favourite.

A great day was had by all, and they all went home a little tired after such a busy day!
