My name is Julie and I joined The Goslings Preschool in September 2021. I love working with children and being part of their journey, to support and help them to achieve their goals before starting school. I have worked in preschool and school settings for the last 15 years; 10 years in a preschool, 5 of which I was Deputy Manager, and 2 years in a special school supporting children with behaviour and learning difficulties. I have two boys aged 20 and 18; I am involved with the Crewe Gang Show and thoroughly enjoy giving up my free time to support children aged 10-18 to have some amazing opportunities and to gain some very valuable life experiences.
I played cricket for the England Ladies Cricket Team when I was younger and also played for several years in local cricket, taking a lot of stick for being the only woman on the pitch (but I can take it). I also played hockey since I was 12, to keep me fit and enable me to keep up with all the little ones at work.
Working with your children is not a job, it's a pleasure and a privilege to be a part of their journey.

I have been working at The Goslings since September 2024, I am working towards my Level 3 whilst working alongside these amazing children. My daughter was at The Goslings and thoroughly enjoyed her time here, she gained confidence to be prepared for school and made some lovely friends.
I am a Pilates teacher and have incorporated this into my role with the children, by doing a weekly Yoga session with them, the children all enjoy this time and know the moves and routines better than me.

I have been working as a preschool assistant since April 2024, this is something I have enjoyed and have a good repour with all the children. I am currently studying Politics and International Relations at Keele University, I enjoy musical theatre and have done several shows in the local and surrounding areas.
