OUR ORIGINS
The Goslings first opened its doors
in September 2002
and is managed by Julie,
assisted by the deputy manager, Jane.
Over the last 20 years, The Goslings has become a very popular preschool for children, owing to its creative and nurturing environment. The Goslings remains committed to providing excellent facilities, learning and development for children of the local area.

Our preschool is situated in a purpose-built unit at Winterley Methodist Church, with excellent outdoor areas that provide a safe and secure environment for our children.

We are a charitable preschool run by a committee of parents who work closely with the management team to provide the best possible environment for our children to learn and have lots of fun in.
​
The Goslings offers a great learning environment, developing sociable, confident and independent children. Whilst learning is still through play, it has become more structured and is monitored according to the framework set out by OFSTED. The Goslings is part of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
A SAFE AND SECURE ENVIRONMENT
Robust health and safety procedures.

All areas of the preschool are secure, with outside areas securely fenced off. Weather permitting, we sometimes take the children to nearby Winterley Pool to see the ducks and wildlife. We always ensure appropriate safety and supervision measures are in place for any such visits.

Systems are in place for the safe arrival and departure of children. We record the arrival and departure of any adults (staff, visitors, volunteers).
​
Doors and gates remain locked at all times and are continually monitored by staff.
